My name is Devansh Saxena, but I go by Dev. I am a rising 4^th year majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I am also getting a minor in Mathematics, a certificate in Student Leadership, and an MBA through the Accelerated Engineering Degree (ACCEND) program. I was born in New Delhi, India, however, I was raised in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Cincinnati. I finished high school in Cincinnati, and my immediate family lives in Cincinnati as well, which is why I consider it home. As I attended high school locally, I was aware of the University of Cincinnati but was amazed by the diversity, community, co-op, and so many more things during my tour of the campus. I fell in love with the campus and UC during that tour due to which I decided to attend UC.

My UC journey has been great so far! I am grateful to have finished my first two co-op rotations at Toyota. I am currently on co-op with Proctor & Gamble. I am also very involved on campus. Besides being an International Student Ambassador, I serve as a Resident Advisor (RA) at Morgens Hall, a member of the College of Engineering & Applied Sciences Tribunal and Ambassador, a member of International Partners and Leaders (IPals), and a member of the Undergraduate Student Government. Outside of UC, I enjoy working out and hanging out with friends and family, and I serve as the Co-founder of a local startup called iSurvey.
