This is one of my favorite books so far. I started reading this book after I graduated from high school and I am thankful that I did, it has helped me a lot in my college life. This book teaches me how to make smart financial decisions in college, it protected me from student loans, and it also helped me to spend money with a plan.
Here are a few things I learned about:
1. Student Loan
2. Credit Cards
3. Dumb Choices
4. No Plan
5. No Money

After reading multiple stories about different people from this book I realized that using credit is not a good options for college students . There are so many opportunities available for college student like scholarships, grants, work study, part-time jobs, etc..
Sometimes we feel lazy doing this things thinking that taking out loans or credit cards are the best option without realizing we are doing something wrong. From the book, most of the people that have a student loan are those who have financial problems after graduation. When you take loans out you have to pay the money back with interest. That will limit your time to travel or take breaks when you want them.
If you are a high school student going to college, or a college student it is not late. Read this book and it will help you a lot to become independent in college!
