Places to Visit in Cincinnati

Cincinnati is known as the Queen city due to the rapid growth of the population into the 1800s. Cincinnati has a lot of historical and fun places to visit and to have good memories. All of these places are located not too far from the University of Cincinnati. Here are just a few recommendations:

1. American Sign Museum

The Cincinnati sign museum is the largest in the United States, it is dedicated to all signs in the United States. The museum is work though, with more than 100 years of American sign history. It is about 15 minutes away from the University of Cincinnati.

2. The Cincinnati Zoo

  • The Cincinnati Zoo is the sixth oldest zoo in the United States. More than 300,000 students are invited to participate in the zoo educational program. The Cincinnati zoo is just 5 minutes away from the University of Cincinnati. The zoo has different kinds of animals like Amphibians, Fish, Birds, Invertebrates, Mammals, and Reptiles. It also is home to Fiona the Hippo, who went viral for being an adorable baby hippo!

3. Cincinnati Museum Center

  • Once an old railroad terminal, this building is exceptional when you see it from the inside or outside and the architecture is one-of-a-kind. The Cincinnati Museum Center consist of a theater, a library, and a symphonic pipe organ. It inspires people of all ages to learn more about the world through, education, science, and regional history. The museum is 10 minutes away from the University of Cincinnati using the metro plus bus.
