If you’re anything like me, your morning does not start until you’ve had a cup of coffee. Wherever I am in the world, I always make it a mission of mine to find a good coffee spot. I have spent the last two years living here in Cincinnati hunting down the best coffee shops near campus. Lucky for you, I have curated a list of a few of my favorites!

Rohs Street Cafe

Just a few blocks off campus, Rohs Street Cafe is a great spot to get some homework done while sipping on a delicious coffee. They always have a tray of fresh pastries and baked goods to satisfy your sweet tooth. It is a very warm and cozy environment with lots of tables to meet friends or sit down for a coffee on your own. In the summertime, it is nice to sit outside on the porch and enjoy the sunshine!

U Square Starbucks

This is my favorite Starbucks near our campus. U Square has a great atmosphere full college students and families. They have lots of seating available both indoor and outdoor. It is also convenient to put in a mobile order online so you can pick up your coffee on the way to class! I also like that Starbucks has great food options available for any time of the day.

The 86

The 86 also has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. They serve espresso coffee, smoothies, sodas and some pastries. Located across the road from campus, it is filled with college students catching up or getting homework done.

Coffee Emporium

If you’re looking to venture a little further off campus for some great coffee, Coffee Emporium in Over The Rhine is my favorite! With a huge food menu and lots of coffee options, I am constantly trying new things. You can sit in their recently renovated cafe or pickup a coffee to go and explore Over The Rhine.
