Professional students group in the Lindner College of Business

pledge class of fall 2019

University of Cincinnati is known for its experience-based learning which focuses a lot on co-ops and internships but little did we know, in order to nail those dream co-ops or internships, we have to have a good connection with people. One way that can help you to get to know more people is to join a club or organization, today, I am going to talk about a Professional Business Fraternity called Delta Sigma Pi.

the essence of fun

I had the opportunity to interview with a friend whose name is Hannah and she is currently a member of Delta Sigma Pi, a Coed Professional Business Fraternity on campus. Hannah majors in Business and she finds joining a business fraternity is a great way to combine professionalism and fellowship among business majors in a really productive and fun way. She had made some really close friends through this organization. She was also given the opportunity as a member to participate in workshops as well as business conferences.

Delta Sigma Pi is open to all business majors and minors and because of that, everyone in the fraternity has the same focus and similar goals which makes helping each other easier. At the beginning of each semester, they have a recruitment process that last for a week( aka rush week). Students who have interest in becoming a member of the organization are required to attend 2 events in that same week in order to be granted an interview. “During the interview, there will be questions asked in order to help them know more about your career goals, characteristic and the urge to learn more and to become more professional.” said Hannah.

With that information in hand, why don’t you apply now and expand your network?
